Free Shipping On Every Order

Shipping Policy

We work closely with our brand partners to ship directly from their warehouses across the U.S. — fewer hands on your product, and a faster path to your door. Here's how long each brand takes, what free curbside delivery actually covers, and what to do the day your freight arrives.

Lead times by brand

Lead time is how long the manufacturer takes to pick, pack and hand your order to the carrier. Transit time is on top of that, and the clock starts once your order is approved — not the moment you check out.

Brand Estimated time Delivery
Proline Kitchen Appliances 7–10 business days Free curbside delivery
ZLINE Kitchen and Bath 7–10 business days Free curbside delivery

Holiday periods, severe weather and manufacturer warehouse capacity can extend these windows. We'll let you know if anything changes on your order.

Ordering from more than one brand? Items ship separately from each manufacturer's own warehouse and will arrive on different days, each with its own tracking number. That's normal — nothing is missing.

What free curbside delivery includes

Curbside is the standard for major appliances, and it's the thing customers most often misread. Here is exactly where the driver's job ends and yours begins.

The carrier does
Schedules and delivers

Calls you to arrange a delivery window, then brings the pallet to the curb or the end of your driveway on a liftgate.

You do
Receive, inspect, sign

Someone 18 or older needs to be there to check the shipment and sign for it. Inspect before you sign — see the next section.

Not included
Moving it inside

Drivers don't carry units indoors, unpack them, remove packaging or install anything. Line up help in advance.

Ranges, hoods, refrigerators and dishwashers are heavy and awkward on a pallet. Plan for two people and a clear path from the curb before your delivery window opens.

Delivery day: what to do in the first ten minutes

What you do at the curb decides whether a damaged unit gets replaced free or becomes your problem. Take the ten minutes.

01

Walk the pallet before you sign

Check every side of the carton for crushing, punctures, water staining and shifted contents. Photograph the pallet while it's still on the truck if anything looks off.

02

Write "damaged" on the delivery receipt

If you see any damage, note it on the carrier's paperwork before you sign. A clean signature on a damaged shipment is very hard to walk back.

03

Unbox and inspect the same day

Concealed damage deadlines are short and they start at delivery, not when you get around to opening the box. ZLINE requires concealed damage reported within 24 hours; Proline within 5 business days.

04

Test everything, then keep the packaging

Run the lights, every fan speed, the controls and the filters. Confirm the model and dimensions match your order. Keep the box, foam, hardware, filters, manuals and packing slip until you're certain you're keeping the unit.

Do not install a damaged unit. Once a unit is installed it cannot be returned or exchanged, even if it arrived damaged. Stop and email care@smarthomeluxury.com first. Full details on the Return Policy page.

Order confirmation and tracking

Please use a valid email address at checkout. You'll hear from us twice.

01

Order confirmation

Arrives once your order is verified and approved. This is your receipt — keep it. You'll need the order number for any return or damage claim.

02

Shipping confirmation

Arrives when the manufacturer hands your order to the carrier. Includes your tracking number plus contact details for the carrier, so you can arrange your delivery window directly.

Not seeing our emails? Check your spam folder and add care@smarthomeluxury.com to your contacts. If it's been longer than the lead time above with no shipping confirmation, email us and we'll chase the warehouse.

Free shipping and payment

Shipping is free on every order. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay — no freight charges, handling fees or delivery surcharges.

Payment methods

We accept all major credit and debit cards, PayPal, and the other payment options shown at checkout. We do not offer COD.

Address changes

Double-check your shipping address before you order. We'll do our best to correct an address before the order leaves the warehouse, but we can't guarantee it.

Once a shipment is in transit, carriers charge reconsignment fees of up to $250 to redirect it, and that cost is passed through to you.

If an incorrect address is provided at checkout and the carrier has to return the shipment to the warehouse, the applicable restocking and return shipping fees will be deducted from your refund. See the Return Policy for your brand's fee schedule.

Where we ship

Standard service
Contiguous 48 states

Free curbside delivery and full return eligibility under our published policy.

By arrangement
AK, HI, Canada, international

Possible through a freight forwarder or private shipping proxy that you arrange in advance. Contact us before you order.

Important
Final sale outside our area

Returns aren't accepted on orders shipped outside our standard delivery area.

If you arrange a forwarder to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada or anywhere beyond the lower 48, the sale is final once the shipment leaves our carrier's network. Inspect thoroughly at the forwarder's facility if that's an option for you.

Damaged, lost or delayed shipments

Damage

  • Visible at delivery: write "damaged" on the carrier's receipt before signing, then email us with photos.
  • ZLINE concealed damage: report within 24 hours of delivery, with at least 3 clear photos of the product and the shipping container, plus your tracking number.
  • Proline damage: report within 5 business days of delivery, with your order number and photos.
  • Damage reported inside the brand's deadline is repaired, replaced or refunded at no cost to you. Damage reported after it generally cannot be.

Lost in transit

If your shipment hasn't arrived within two full days after the carrier's estimated delivery date, contact us immediately so we can open a trace with the carrier. Loss claims must be filed within 5 days from the ship date.

Delays

Freight carriers occasionally miss appointment windows because of weather, terminal congestion or equipment problems. We'll keep you updated, but a carrier delay on its own isn't grounds for a fee-free cancellation once the order has shipped — see Cancellations for how that's handled.
